The program is characterized with carefully designed applications aiming to determining the prayer times in accordance with the timing of every location around the globe. It also identifies the direction of the Qibla from any spot the user selects. It is worth noting that determining the direction of the Qibla in the program depends on the calculation of the longitudes and latitudes, and covers more than a thousand cities all over the world. The calculation of the prayer times is conducted according to the internationally recognized methods in Umm Al-Qura University, Muslim World League, Egyptian General Survey Authority, the University of Islamic Sciences in Karachi and The Muslim Union of North America, so that the user may use any of these methods to determine the times of Fajr and Isha. There is also the option of adjusting the Summer Time in the beginning of the Summer Season and the Winter Time in the beginning of the Winter Season, and therefore, the user will be able to modify the time according to the country he lives in, and to convert the changes in the prayer times into automatic-changes.
The program draws your attention when the time of the prayer or Iqama is due, through a message of a Prophetic Hadith related to prayer accompanied with a picture of one of the famous mosques and the Azan from Al-Masjid Al-Haram, Al-Masjid An-Nabawi or from Egypt according to your choice. Flexibility in the manual adjusting of the program is one of its features. This feature can be used to adjust the time of one prayer or more than one prayer at any time during the year, and particularly in the places where night is very short and the prayer times depend on the estimation of times. There is also an option of modifying the longitudes, the latitudes and the differences of times of any city around the world.
The program also enables the user to print the monthly and the annual prayer schedules of a number of cities according to his/her choice in different languages: English, Indonesian, German, Turkish, French, Malay, and, of course, Arabic. The prayer schedule can be used as a calendar, since the month and the day, which appear on the schedule, are in accordance with the date on the computer. This program runs with Microsoft Windows 95, 98 and 2000. |
